PROCESS EXPO Today has reported on many of these events, and you can read more inside this issue on food safety, preventive maintenance, mixers and high-pressure pasteurization sessions, among others. The US Poultry and Egg Association and the National Chicken Council brought together a distinguished panel of industry professionals for a Food Safety Symposium. Additionally, the North American Meat Processors Association (NAMP) conducted a beef food-safety seminar, where the primary focus was on non-O157 STECs and the challenges in controlling these pathogens in beef products. “We are honored to have NAMP and these distinguished speakers present a seminar at PROCESS EXPO” said Scott Scriven, president of Weber Inc. and chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association.
