Handtmann ConPro Systems combine the
advantages of plant-based alginate casings
with Handtmann co-extrusion technology for
the continuous production of linking or hanging
products with gentle handling, precise portioning
and operational efficiency.
Handtmann ConPro Systems are the perfect
option for many new plant-based protein
products, including links and snack sticks.
ConPro Hanging, ConPro Linking & Hanging
and ConPro Forming and Separating Solutions
provide alginate casing options that meet the
most diverse plant-based protein processing
needs, from new product development in R&D
centers to the high-volume commercial
processing plants.

Product is co-extruded with an alginate casing, then moves through
a cascading calcium chloride fixing solution into a hygienic-plastic flume
with a flowing calcium chloride bath. The product is set for twisting and
cutting or hanging by the end of this short path.
