TO IBIE 2022!
AS THE RETAIL BAKERS OF AMERICA BOARD PRESIDENT, I'm thrilled to be in the mix with our great
community again this year. After all, IBIE is the pinnacle for our industry - where the best of the best
come together, to share, learn and inspire each other. The timing couldn't be more critical with the many
challenges our retail bakers are facing right now. It's important that we come together to lean on one
another and advance our industry as a whole.
It's my honor to represent RBA as a supporting sponsor of IBIE. As the first major event of its size
and scale in three years, this year's Baking Expo™ is integral to the future of our business. As we have
learned, nothing replaces face-to-face interaction with our peers - experiencing the energy from live
demos, hands-on workshops and the opportunity to test products and equipment before we buy. And
every show cycle I'm always so impressed by how IBIE delivers.
There's a lot in store for retailer bakers this year. Check out the RBA Bakers Center,
decorated by Corbion, which features a fresh lineup of celebrity chefs and master
bakers, including Buddy Valastro, The Hebridean Baker Coinneach MacLeod, and TV

Mauri where legendary baker Duff Goldman and his cover band Foie Grock will
perform.
IBIE is focused on rising trends for retail bakers too. Be sure to drop by the
bustling Cannabis Central Pavilion, powered by Cannabis Products, to explore
products and services and catch relevant education sessions and expert-led
demos addressing the unique business challenges and opportunities in this
space.
If you're looking for insights, the IBIEducate program is where you'll find
them. Recognized as the largest baking education program in the world, you can
