spend about 34% more that day in the store
compared to shoppers who don't.

The look of the person matters as well. Instead of just a branded tee
shirt for the product and some khakis, make the person working the
sampling and demo stations a true brand representative. What this
means will differ for different stores, locations and products. With a little
forethought, this person can stand out and represent the product in a
professional and memorable way. Well dressed brand managers represent your store best and impress shoppers well.

Lastly, time your samplings and demos for maximum exposure. Know
what the busiest shopping hours of your store are and make sure that
is the time during the day when you actively sample and demonstrate
the products that will sell best for the big game. Drive sales with well
trained, well dressed brand representatives and salespeople who
know what they are doing, and give them the best selling environment
according to the store's busiest hours.
