dvancePierre Foods is, undoubtedly, one of the big boys in the
realm of fresh foodservice suppliers. In the five-plus years since the
company took its current form after
the merging of Pierre Foods, Advance
Foods and Advance Brands, AdvancePierre has pushed its annual revenue to
$1.6 billion. Its clients include the likes
of Wal-Mart, Kroger, Meijer and Publix.
It boasts 11 facilities in six states and,
according to the Cincinnati Enquirer, is
the largest private company in the Cincinnati region, where the company is
headquartered.
