Average sales by store, per week were up 6.6 percent compared to the previous year. Sales peaked the week ending June 13, 2015, at $1,854 per store. Average dollar sales of deli sandwiches increased across regions, up as much as 10.4 percent in the Central region when compared to the previous year. The classic submarine sandwich accounted for more than half (53.3 percent) of the total deli sandwich dollar share, while regular bread sandwiches made up 31 percent. Wraps and rolls accounted for 12.1 percent, with the rest of the category filled out by croissant sandwiches, lavosh/pitas, paninis, bagel sandwiches and more.
