Scheiber to Bühler c.e.o. in 2016;
Grieder to remain chairman
UZWIL, SWITZERLAND - On July
1, 2016, Stefan Sch eiber will succeed Calvin Grieder as the chief
executive officer of Bühler, the company announced on July 9.
Mr. Grieder, who was c.e.o. for 15
years, will remain chairman of the
board, a position he has held since
2014.
Mr. Scheiber, 49, has been working
for Bühler since 1988. In the course
of his 25-year career with Bühler, he

has headed various sales and production organizations
in Kenya, South Africa
and Germany, living
and working abroad
for about 15 of those
years. In 2005, he was
appointed head of the
Sales and Service Divi- Scheiber
sion, thus becoming a
member of the executive board of
Bühler. In 2009, he took charge of

Masujima takes new role at
Nisshin Flour Milling
TOKYO - Naoto Masujima was
appointed director and executive
general manager, Overseas Business
Division, for Nisshin Flour Milling
Inc., effective June 25.
In this role, he will be in charge
of existing overseas companies' operations and development of new
businesses. Mr. Masujima was previously in globalization, Corporate
Planning Division, Nisshin Seifun
Group, Inc.
Masashi Koike, executive officer,
deputy general manager, Corporate
Planning Division, has been appointed to Mr. Masujima's previous
position.
Nisshin Flour Milling Inc., a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Nisshin Seifun Group Inc. (NSGI), is Japan's
largest flour milling company. The
company has been in the process
of building an international flour

milling network, with bases already
operating in Canada, Thailand, the
United States and New Zealand.
Nisshin acquired the Rogers
Foods, Ltd. milling business in
Canada in 1989. In 2012, Nisshin
acquired Miller Milling Co., which
operates flour mills in Fresno, Calif., and Winchester, Va., and in February 2013 it purchased Champion
Flour Milling Ltd. from Goodman
Fielder for NZ$51 million.
In May 2014, Nisshin's Miller
Milling business acquired four additional mills - the Los Angeles
U.S. flour mill of Horizon Milling
L.L.C. and Oakland, Calif.; Saginaw, Texas; and New Prague, Minn.,
mills of ConAgra Mills. When acquired, these four mills had a combined daily flour milling capacity of
58,600 cwts. In addition to turning

Subway elevates Suzanne
Greco to president
MILFORD, CONN. - Suzanne
Greco, who began working for
the Subway restaurant chain since
1973, has been named president of
the company, Subway said June 25.
Ms. Greco will oversee the day-today operations of the company and
will continue to report directly to
Fred DeLuca, founder and chief executive officer.
"Suzanne
has
accomplished
a great deal with Subway, and I
know there are many more terrific
things to come," Mr. DeLuca said.

Mr. DeLuca is the older brother of
Ms. Greco.
Ms. Greco led the
research and development team at Subway
for 24 years. She facilitated the creation of the
Independent Purchasing Cooperative (IPC) Greco
in 1996 to handle the
Subway brand's product purchasing.
In 2012 Ms. Greco began overseeing

the Food Processing Division and
in 2014 of the entire Grains & Food
business of Bühler.
The company's board of directors
said it welcomes the early succession planning for the top executive
level of the group. The move will
ensure that the long-term corporate strategy is continued, which
aims at ensuring the profitable
growth of the group, the company
said.

Grains & Food business is already in

restaurants that serve wheat flourrelated food products; Nisshin Management & Technical Consulting Inc.,
which provides broad support for
Nisshin Flour Milling Inc.'s customer
services; and Nisshin-STC Flour Milling Co., Ltd., a Thai joint venture that
performs milling and sales operations in the Southeast Asian region. MBN
