flour extraction in Great Britain has been raised to 85%.

Instead of increasing the milling extraction rate in Canada
to 80%, as in this country,
Dominion authorities will
cut the supply of wheat for
domestic milling by 10% on
the basis of purchases for this
purpose made during 1945.

Chester C. Davis, president of
the Federal Reserve Bank of St.
