Brian Driscoll retained as president
and c.e.o. of Snyder's-Lance
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The board of
directors of Snyder's-Lance, Inc. has
named Brian J. Driscoll as president
and chief executive officer. Mr. Driscoll
has been serving as the company's interim president and c.e.o. since April,
when Carl E. Lee, Snyder's-Lance's former president and c.e.o., stepped down.

Mr. Driscoll is the former
president and c.e.o. of Diamond
Foods, which Snyder's-Lance Driscoll
acquired in early 2016. Prior to
joining Diamond Foods, he was the
c.e.o. of Hostess Brands, Inc. from July
2010 to March 2012. From 2002 to 2010,

Aryzta hires Keith Cooper as
interim c.e.o. for Americas
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND - Keith
F. Cooper has been named interim
chief executive officer of the Americas
business at Aryzta AG, the company's
board of directors announced on June
20. Mr. Cooper is a senior managing
director at FTI Consulting, but he has
been supporting Aryzta management
in North America on business optimization and efficiency improvements
since March.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr.
Cooper was a partner in the U.S. division of PricewaterhouseCoopers'

Business Recovery Services practice.
He received a bachelor's degree in
accounting and management
information systems from the
University of Missouri at St.
Louis.
Additionally, Aryzta said
Ronan Minahan is stepping
down as chief operating officer
of Americas to pursue other in- Cooper
terests, effective immediately. He
will continue to be available to support
Mr. Cooper and the management team
to progress operational efficiency and

John Valenti joins Agspring as v.p.
of corporate asset operations
LEAWOOD, KAS. - John Valenti
has joined Agspring as vice-president of corporate asset operations.
In his new position, he is responsible for overseeing the company's
grain operations, processing operations and safety programs.

customers of our operating companies will benefit from John's diverse
experience and strong commitment
toward operational excellence," said

of AgSpring. "His core competencies
in heavy ag processing will enhance

Mr. Valenti has 17 years of professional experience in technical
and large-asset operations management in the chemical processing, food ingredients, packaged
consumer goods, large-scale
wet corn processing and biofuels industries. Before joining Agspring he had served
since 2015 as plant manager
of Alltech in Winchester, Ky.,
where he led the site to be
fully certified with FAMI-QS. Valenti
From 2011 to 2015 he held
several positions at Aventine Renewable Energy Inc., including
plant manager of the Mount Vernon, Ind., facility and the Pekin,
Ill., facilities, and most recently

he held senior management positions
at Kraft Foods Inc., including as president of sales, customer service and logistics for Kraft North America from
2007 to 2010. Mr. Driscoll joined Kraft
Foods, Inc. as a result of Kraft's acquisition of Nabisco, where he worked from
1995 to 2002, first as president of sales
and integrated logistics and later as the
senior vice-president of biscuit
sales and customer service.

Mr. Valenti was operations manager in 2011 for B&G Foods in Portland, Maine, leading the site to obtain SQF certification and achieving
recognition as Portland Business of
the Year. From 2007 to 2010 he was
technical manager for Parallel Environmental Services Corp., Louisville, Ky., managing capital
projects and improving operations, which contributed
to record profits in 2009.
Early in his career from 2000
until 2007 he held various
management and engineering roles with Tate & Lyle,
a multinational agribusiness
company.
Mr. Valenti received a bachelor 's
degree in food and bioprocess engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign. MBN
