Sara Lee Frozen Bakery bolsters
executive leadership team
OAKBROOK TERRACE, ILL. - Sara
Lee Frozen Bakery has added to its management team with the appointments of
Ryan Malone and Wendy Webb Williams as chief marketing officer and chief
legal officer, respectively.
Mr. Malone has more than 25 years
of experience in the food industry, most
recently as senior director of marketing
at McCain Foods USA. Prior to McCain
he held marketing roles of increasing
responsibility at Kellogg Co. and Kraft

Foods. He also worked at Kronos Foods
and Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group.
He received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Illinois State University and a
master's degree in strategy and marketing from the University of Chicago Booth
School of Business.
Ms. Williams most recently led the law
department for the North America and
Europe regions at Mead Johnson Nutrition. Earlier, she was associate general
counsel for US Foodservice, Inc., where

leader for global sales

been named vice-president of global sales
at AIB International, effective Jan. 1.

she supported the merchandising, compliance, operational strategy, employment and government sales functions.
Before joining US Foodservice she was
part of the corporate services group at
McGuire Woods LLP in Baltimore.
She received a master's degree in business administration from the University
of Maryland University College.

Dunkin' Brands promotes
Varughese to lead
international operations
CANTON, MASS. - John Varughese
has been promoted to senior vice-president of international at Dunkin' Brands
Group, Inc. In his new role he will be
responsible for all aspects of Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' business units outside
the United States.
Mr. Varughese succeeds Nigel Travis,
who has served as interim head of international for the past nine months. Mr.
Travis will continue as chairman of the
board of directors.
Mr. Varughese has been with Dunkin'
Brands for the past 16 years, most recently
as vice-president of international. Prior to
Dunkin' Brands, he spent seven years with
the Galadari Ice Cream Co. in the Middle
East, which is one of the largest BaskinRobbins international licensees. He began
his career in international sales with Smith
Kline Beecham Consumer Brands.
He received a bachelor's degree in commerce, a master's degree in commerce and
a master's degree in marketing.
