Weight Watchers and Hubinger Co., expressed confidence

Horatio G. Stinnett Jr., president of the Harvest Queen
Mill & Elevator Co., Plainview, Texas, died suddenly
the afternoon of March 10.
Mr. Stinnett suffered a heart
attack at the office of the mill.
He was 62.

U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln
of Arkansas, chairman of the
U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, unveiled the Healthy,
Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010
on March 17. The bill, which
would provide $4.5 billion in
new child nutrition program
funding over 10 years, would
mark the largest investment
ever made in federal child
nutrition programs.

Mrs Baird's Bakeries, Inc. will
break ground this month on
a new baking plant in Fort
Worth, Texas.

The Chase Manhattan Bank
announced it plans to offer
institutional investors, including wealthy individuals,

will retire, effective March 31, as

visiting St. Louis. Mr. Berkley,
who was 52, was a director of
the City National Bank and
Trust Co. Survivors include

Berkley, and two daughters.

March 9 announced it has accepted an offer from the city of
North Kansas City, Mo., to purchase the property where ADM's
North Kansas City flour mill
(shown) is located. ADM said it
will transfer the property to the
city by Oct. 4, 2011.
Viterra Inc. has agreed to acquire Dakota Growers Pasta
Company, Inc., Carrington,
N.D., in a transaction valued
at approximately $240 million.
Panera Bread Co. said it will
post calorie information on
menu boards at all 585 company-owned Panera Bread
and Saint Louis Bread Co.

Alfred Fiske Pillsbury, a director and former secretary
and treasurer of Pillsbury
Mills, Inc., passed away early
March 12 at his home in Minneapolis at the age of 81. Mr.
Pillsbury, who was the son of
John S. Pillsbury, a co-founder of the Pillsbury company
and a governor of Minnesota,
had gained outstanding recognition as a civic and cultural leader.
A week later, Philip W. Pillsbury, president of Pillsbury
Mills, Inc., was appointed
special administrator of the
estate of the late Alfred F.
Pillsbury, to pay current
household expenses and business payrolls.
