The move was part of BBU's "No Added Nonsense" initiative. BBU removed
monoglycerides, diacetyl tartaric acid
esters of mono- and diglycerides (DATEM) and high-fructose corn syrup from
the Whole Grains line. The line includes
Oatnut, 100% Whole Wheat, 12 Grain,
Healthy Multi-Grain and Health Nut.
Now, the Arnold, Brownberry and
Oroweat brands will get a boost from
butter via the Land O'Lakes partnership.
Made with simple ingredients, including whole milk and sea salt, Country
Style Butter Bread baked with Land O'
Lakes butter is free from artificial preservatives, colors and flavors.
