We are currently looking for a Milling
Superintendent with growth potential.
Knappen Milling Co was established in 1929
as a specialty milling company making a variety
of cleaned and milled wheat products. Our
finished materials can be found in our customer's
products on store shelves all across the United
States and into areas of both Canada and Mexico.
Knappen Milling Company is a certified SQF
quality supplier and is located in Southwestern
Michigan off of Hwy I-94 between Battle Creek
and Kalamazoo. Knappen Milling offers a
competitive wage and benefit package including
medical and dental insurance, paid vacation,
401K, life insurance, bonuses and opportunities
for advancement within the company. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong background in
flour milling which includes a degree in Milling
Science from Kansas State University and a
minimum of 3 years of experience with hands-on
production management. This candidate will
manage, supervise, and train the production staff
in the milling department, provide guidance
and direction to subordinates, including
setting performance standards and monitoring
subordinates' performance.
This candidate will supervise between 9 and
12 employees including both hourly union
employees and salaried supervisors.
