Hostess Brands names Poretti
chief supply chain officer
LENEXA, KAN. - Adrian Poretti has
joined Hostess Brands, Inc. as chief supply
chain officer, overseeing all Hostess
operations and supply chain. He succeeds
Gary Schmidt, who had served as
interim CSCO since January 2022 and will
continue to lead the company's operations
and engineering teams.
Mr. Poretti joins the company's leadership
team and will report to Andrew P.
Callahan, president and chief executive
officer of Hostess Brands.

Mr. Poretti joins Hostess Brands after
nearly 30 years at Kimberly-Clark,
where he most
recently was vice president,
global supply chain capabilities.
Prior to that, he led Kimberly-Clark's
North America
end-to-end supply chain
overseeing all operations
and functions, including
supply planning, procurement,
manufacturing and
logistics, quality, safety and
sustainability, continuous improvement,
and strategy and transformation programs.

Joe Girdner succeeds Takuya Mitani
as president, CEO of Miller Milling
BLOOMINGTON, MINN. - Joe Girdner
has been named president and chief executive
officer of Miller Milling Co.. He succeeds
Takuya Mitani, who is returning to
Nisshin Seifun Group in Japan.
Mr. Girdner has more than 30 years of
experience in grain and transportation,
including the past 9 years at Rogers Foods
Ltd. (also owned by Nishin). He most
recently was president of Rogers Foods
Ltd. since 2017 and will continue to hold
that position after joining
Miller Milling Co. Earlier,
he was vice president of
logistics and procurement
at Rogers Foods, and also
has worked as the project
manager for Rogers Foods'
milling operation expansion
in Chilliwack, BC.

Founded in Minneapolis in 1985, Miller

to large customers through regional
destination mills. In 2012, Miller Milling
became a part of Nisshin.
Miller Milling operates
five facilities in the United
States and ranks fifth in the
nation in daily flour production
capacity at 86,600
cwts, according to Sosland
Publishing Co.'s 2022 Grain
& Milling Annual. Its largest
mill is in Winchester, Va.,
Argentina in 1993 as an engineer and held
a variety of positions of increasing responsibility
across various geographies during
his three decades with the company.
Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Mr. Poretti
specialized in industrial automation and
was a professor at the National University
of Cordoba School of Engineering
in Cordoba, Argentina. He received a master's
degree in business administration
from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos
Aires in 2002.

promotes Brown
TULSA, OKLA. - Bama Companies,
Inc. has promoted Tenille Brown to US
general manager.
Ms. Brown has been with Bama for
nearly 13 years, most recently as senior
vice president of global business development.
Earlier she was director of McDonald's
US strategic business.
She received a bachelor's degree in
business administration at the University
of Oklahoma and a master's degree in
business administration at The University
