Multivac, Inc., Kansas City, Mo.,
recently began carrying substantial
inventories of spare parts that might
otherwise needed to be ordered and
shipped, eliminating a day or more
of potential machine downtime.
"For our customers, every minute
of machine downtime costs money,
so this program will go a long way
toward supporting their efficiency
and profitability goals," said Lee
Buell, Multivac's service manager
for North America.
Gainco, Inc., Gainesville, Ga., has
appointed two new
members to its sales
and marketing team.
Gary Wright was
named regional sales
manager, and his territory will include
Wright
the Upper Midwest,
Illinois and the Pacific Coast. Russ Williams has been named
marketing manager.
He will be responsible for coordinating
worldwide marketing

and product development. Williams spent
the last 12 years with Meyn Poultry
Processing.
Hollymatic Corp., Chicago, has assigned three regional managers to
be responsible for North American
sales through the Authorized Genuine
Hollymatic Dealer and Field Service
Provider Network. Steve Madison
and Randy Hayter, who have been
with Hollymatic for more than five
years, will manager the Eastern
and Central regions, respectively.
Dave Jordon, who joined the company this past April, will manage the
Western region. In addition, 15-year
Hollymatic veteran, Sue Liskey,
who has been managing government
business, will take on national account responsibility.

Jim Ryan has recently joined Harpak,
Inc., Easton, Mass., as vice president
of sales. He most recently served as
vice president of sales at Nu-Meat
Technology. Kevin Nolan has been
appointed the senior vice president
for Harpak. He has been with Harpak
since 1997 as vice president of sales.
Additionally, Jerry Rundle has joined
the company as Northeast regional
sales representative.
Baltimore Spice, Inc., Owings Mill,
Md., has promoted Gary Ramsy to
C.E.O. He has been with the company for more than 15 years and most
recently served as vice president of
sales. Nils Meyer Pries has been
named president and will also serve
on the board of its parent company,
the Fuchs Group. Chris Rodski has
been promoted to C.F.O., having most
recently serving as vice president of
finance and administration.
Peter Goffe has joined LINCO Food
Systems, Inc., Alpharetta, Ga., as
C.O.O. He will be
responsible for all of
LINCO Food Systems' business activities within North
America and has
more than 20 years

The Solae Co., St. Louis, has expanded its partnership with Henan
Luohe Shineway Industry Group,
China's largest meat processing
company, to build and operate an

Stephen Legg as director, product technology and development.
He has been with the
