Thanks for your encouraging article,
"Faith in Business." I was beginning to
think I was the only Christian left in the
meat and poultry industry.
I have often sacrificed business
because of the "appearance" of a
situation that was a little too much in
that gray area we often find ourselves
operating in.

of faith (pun intended).
After the issue was pubwoodwork in support of what the sources in the story stood for. We
also received phone calls from representatives of other large processing companies letting us know of their investment in promoting faith
in the workplace. We now have a list of several firms willing to go on
record should we ever tackle the issue again.
We encourage readers to respond (positively or otherwise) to this
issue or any story in our magazine. We vow to continue tackling issues
and reporting news that our readers need to improve their businesses.
We depend on you, the readers, to tell us whether or not we are succeeding. Please keep the letters coming. -JC

If there's ever an article that is worthy of
being featured on the cover, it is this one.
I am not a preacher, a teacher or a
speaker. I am just a 35-year-old business owner and mother of two who sees
the big picture of what our country is
getting itself into because so many
"leaders" have allowed God to be taken
out of so much.
It's inspiring to know that the people
in the article are the way they are and
that your magazine was and hopefully
still is willing to put it on the cover.
Some might just tuck it between the

pages or scatter it about in small sections over several pages. But yours was
very noticeable.
If you should be in touch with the
people you interviewed for this story,
please let them know that leaving a witness of their works helps others, myself
included.
Keep God in everything you do, and
you can't go wrong.

The story in the August issue,
"Faith in Business," made my day.
Like the companies mentioned in
the story, our company, Armstrong
International and its C.E.O., David
Armstrong, proudly profess our faith
in our business lives. We believe in
giving the Lord the glory for our
company's success. Mr. Armstrong
has appointed a corporate chaplain
and designated an area inside the
factory as a chapel, where employees
can worship and pray.
It is uplifting to see other corporate
leaders taking a stand as my employer
has done. I can tell you it truly makes
a difference.
My thanks to your magazine for publishing an unconventional article in an
industry trade magazine. I believe it is
one of the most beneficial I have seen
in my career.
