We are a growing technology company selling a range of new and innovative products and solutions to the food processing and retail
sectors. We are currently seeking a key accounts executive for our growing business in North America. The role will involve a significant
amount of new business development and relationship building with key executives within target organizations. In particular, the role
will demand the development and extension of the company's sales pipeline, formalization of the sales process and sales of complex
technical products into multiple buying influences. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the company's sales activities in North
America, from lead generation to execution. This is a challenging and exciting role which will require travel within the United States and
Canada. It is ideally suited to a self starter who enjoys a good level of autonomy with a strong focus on execution and delivery.

Location: US Midwest
Salary: Attractive base salary plus bonus
Reporting to the Commercial Director your key responsibilities will include:
* Helping develop and execute new sales leads for the
company's products and services in North America
* Helping formalize the sales process for the company's
products in North America
* Building on the company's existing North American customer base, strengthening relationships, while identifying and
creating 'need' within existing clients, through understanding
their business and issues
* Identifying new market segments for the company's
products and services
* Working with company executives in developing new products specifically targeted at meeting identified customer needs
* Developing sales and marketing plans
* Customer relationship management
* Presenting the company at relevant trade and other events

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years
sales experience in FMCG, preferably in the food or retail sector; experience of the meat industry is highly desirable. They
will have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales
objectives, with a strong focus on delivery. They should also
have experience in selling complex products at senior levels
within organizations.
They must have excellent interpersonal skills, be capable
of communicating complex technical products to the various
buying influences and be comfortable managing major
accounts and negotiating significant contracts.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing and
verbal skills and will have a B.S. degree in Food Science or
related area. Though internal staff management is not initially
part of the job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with
the development of the business, and require the management of support sales staff.
