OPEN FRAME SANITARY WEIGHER
Ishida's latest IP69K waterproof weigher is now fully open
for cleaning. Product chutes and hoppers are exposed
for easy access because electronic
components are now housed in a
separate waterproof cabinet. The
cabinet can be mounted on the
weigher frame or remote-located up to
65 ft. away. Open Frame construction
is available on all Ishida RV-Series
14-head weighers with 2-, 3-, 5-, and

SPIRAL FREEZER
Praxair Inc. has added the newest design of its ColdFront
ultra-performance spiral freezer to its other cryogenic
freezing and chilling systems in the
Praxair Food Laboratory. The newly
designed ultra-performance spiral
freezer utilizes direct cryogen injection
of either N2 or CO2 for maximizing
heat transfer. Enhanced horizontal
vapor flow provides additional cooling
potential that would otherwise be
under-utilized. The improved vapor-balance system
minimizes air and moisture infiltration into the system
reducing cryogen consumption.

Larson Electronics has announced
the release of an explosion proof
LED tank light mounted to a portable
wheelbarrow cart. The new EPL-16C150LED-RT-3EX produces a brilliant
flood pattern of light that is ideal
for illuminating enclosed areas. The
EPL-16C-150LED-RT-3EX is rated
Class 1 & 2 Division 1 & 2 and is a cart
mounted explosion proof LED light
that provides 10,000 sq. ft. of work area coverage while
producing 12,000 lumens of light from 150 watts.

ULTRAVIOLET LASER
In response to manufacturers' need to comply with
increased serialization regulations, Videojet Technologies
Inc. has introduced the 7810 Ultraviolet (UV) 2-Watt
laser. Laser technology is the only technology that provides
permanent high resolution marking on high-density
polyethylene (HDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE)
and synthetic fiber materials. The code is resistant to
abrasives, chemicals and sterilization processes. The laser
is specifically engineered to allow high-speed, on-the-fly
marking at up to 250 products per minute.
