Due to increasing demand, global animal health
and nutrition company A L LT EC H , Lexington, Ky.,
has expanded its production facility in Forbes,
New South Wales, Australia. The new facility
will satisfy growing demand from the dairy, beef
and sheep markets for Optigen II, a slow-release,
non-protein nitrogen source. Originally developed
by Cornell University, Optigen II has been used
worldwide for more than 10 years, supported by in
vitro, in situ and in vivo research.

Menton, Ind.-based TIPPMANN INNOVATION (Ti) -
formerly Tippmann Engineering and Tippmann Design
Build - partnered with MIDWES T POULTRY S ER V ICES ,
a 130-year-old family-owned egg farming and processing
company, to design and build an innovative facility for egg
cooling, dry storage and processing. The project greatly
increased Midwest Poultry's efficiency and output.
