HIGH OUTPUT LED LAMP

LISTERIA CONTROL

Larson Electronics has released its Class 1 Division 2
light fixture that is equipped with high output LED lamps
and a 20-ft. cord for connection to power. The HAL-482L-LED-25C is a 4-ft., 2-in. lamp UL listed hazardous area
LED light fixture that carries a T4A temperature rating
and comes standard with
24-watt LED lamps. The
lamps are protected by an
aluminum framed shatterand heat-resistant clear
acrylic lens secured with 10
draw latches. The fixture
is constructed of copper-free aluminum alloy. The lamp
reflector is corrosion resistant heavy gauge aluminum and
coated with a high gloss reflective finish.

Rapid Frame Analyzer, a
plant floor QC solution
to help manage poultry
deboning operations more
efficiently. YieldScan was
designed to monitor actual
performance in real-time to
provide an analysis of the
deboning process. By utilizing
vision analysis of frames coming off of the processing line,
the YieldScan provides information on where the residual
meat is being left on a frame and the relative amount,
thereby giving operators useful data that can be used to
guide process improvements and address problems.

BIOLOGICAL INSECTICIDE
BioSafe Systems announces development of biological
insecticide expected to be approved by US EPA in
2016 for control of poultry insects and pests. This new
insecticide will be trademarked as MetaGuard and will
be a granular formulation of a strain of Metarhizium
beneficial fungi that will infect insect beetles such as
the darkling beetles. It offers poultry operations a new
sustainable solution for insect control while at the same
time guarding the health of the flock. MetaGuard is
expected to be approved by the Organic Material Review
Institute for all agricultural applications.
