The new RM-100 fully automatic
Rollstock Vacuum Packaging
Machine offers the lowest cost of
ownership in the industry with
state-of-the-art simplicity that saves on cost and space.
Its compact size is only 6' 2" long so it can be operated
in the smallest facilities. The RM-100 Rollstock Machine
is available in two web widths: 420 mm and 469 mm.
Cut-offs are available from 200 mm to 240 mm. The RM100 features programmable PLC controls with reliable
diagnostics and a vacumm leak check program. The chain
system is guided and has an auto tensioning system to
reduce stretch and wear.

X-RAY INSPECTION SYSTEM
The second generation XR75 DualX X-ray from Anritsu is
equipped with a newly developed dual energy sensor that
detects contaminants as small as 0.4 mm and significantly
improves detection of low-density or soft contaminants,
providing virtually zero false rejects. The XR75 DualX
provides a higher quality image of detected contaminants,
such as bones in poultry, pork or beef and within
products with overlapping
pieces, e.g., fries, frozen
vegetables and chicken
nuggets. The technology
behind DualX takes QC
and HACCP programs well
beyond just metal detection
in a high-speed production environment by targeting the
elimination of other dangerous foreign material.

ANTIMICROBIAL WIRING DEVICES

ProSpection Solutions LLC is
distributing revolutionary grinders
from Germany which utilize a new
cutting system to eliminate foreign
material during the grind process.
"The Eliminator" removes: bone,
tendons, ligaments, cartilage,
lymph nodes, blood clots, wood, hard and soft plastic and
metals. Product quality is programmable to meet customer
expectations. Rather than using knives or die plates, meat
is extruded through a newly patented separation system.
Temperature increase is significantly less than traditional
grinding. The Eliminator can be used to grind any type of
meat, including beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb and fish.

The FoodScan 2 from Foss is the
latest in rapid near infrared analytical
technology to give a result in as little
as just 25 seconds - approximately
50 percent faster than the first FoodScan. At the same
time, the new FoodScan 2 provides more parameters
for labelling and quality control purposes. Besides the
traditional information about content of fat, protein,
moisture and collagen, FoodScan 2 delivers important new
parameters such as saturated fat, carbohydrates, sodium
and energy. A single test gives all information required to
fulfill product labeling requirements. FoodScan 2 models
include a Lab TS for laboratory operation, a Pro model for
use in the production environment and Lab model with a
keyboard for users not requiring the touchscreen interface.
