FORMING SYSTEM

The Nemo by Sanitary Prime pump, from Netzsch Pumps
North America LLC, is an economical, FDA-compliant
solution for sensitive, abrasive and high viscosity pumping
needs. From low viscosity media to products barely
capable of flowing, with or without solid content, shearsensitive, sticky or abrasive - the Nemo by Sanitary Prime
pump conveys even difficult substances gently and with
low pulsation. It is a good choice for high acids, high
sugars and low water content, as well as raw materials
before being processed and pet foods. Netzsch also offers
the Nemo BH Sanitary advanced pumps that are ideal for
meats, dairy products and sauces, and for any products
requiring gentle handling and/or high viscosity.

Nutec Manufacturing's
745E Food Forming System
operates on a totally electric
platform with absolutely no
hydraulic fluid. Based on the
proven designs of Nutec's
790E and 760E Forming Systems, the energy-efficient
745E Food Forming System offers production rates of
up to 80 strokes per minute or up to 4,500 lbs. per hour
with no hydraulic oil or compressed air used in the more
hygienic forming process. Though completely electric, it
uses approximately 50 percent less electricity than other
machines its size, while forming food at a faster pace. A
smaller footprint also makes it a better choice for food and
meat processing operations.

EXPLOSION-PROOF FLOAT SWITCH
The EPSW-FLS-1KPS-10A-V2 explosion-proof
float switch from Larson Electronics is rated
for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups
C and D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2,
Groups E, F, and G hazardous locations. This
NEMA 4-rated explosion-proof float switch
has no bellows, springs or seals and instead
contains a free-swinging float that attracts
a magnet located within the switch's solid
metal body, which actuates a snap switch with a basic
lever arm. This unit is made of durable brass that can
withstand 1,000 psi (69 bar) of pressure.

TRAY SEALING SOLUTIONS
Proseal offers its advanced OC Conveyor feeding a
Proseal GT1e machine to illustrate the production
efficiencies of an integrated conveyor and tray sealer
solution, and the LC1 Lid-clipping machine. The LC1
is a fully automatic, in-line lid-placing, denesting and
tamping system (patent pending), designed to cut labor
costs while utilizing recyclable packaging. It can accept
trays from any conveyors; clip lids onto film-sealed trays;
and take trays directly from a filling conveyor when
no film lid is required.
Using these features to
avoid any loading errors,
the LC1 system can be
fully integrated with any
other in-line equipment
including upstream traysealing machines.

X-RAY SYSTEMS
The Eagle Pack 240 HC
machine is designed for
easy sanitation in harsh
environments like meat
and poultry facilities. This specific system can be used to
inspect fresh or frozen products in a variety of packaging
formats, such as chubs, overwrapped trays, pouches,
cartons, tubs, cups and plastic containers. In addition
to foreign body detection, the Pack 240 HC conducts
important quality checks like mass measurement,
component count and the identification of missing/broken
pieces. Additionally, with item-level traceability, rejected
images can be stored against product barcodes.

WEIGHING SYSTEM
The new Handtmann WS 910
weighing system offers cost
reduction through minced
meat products with guaranteed
accurate-to-the-gram weights.
It is particularly useful in the
application of minced meat
and in the production of formed products. The weighing
system, with the SB 912 sorting belt, is part of a turnkey
solution, designed for integration into production lines for
process monitoring. The main functions comprise production control, monitoring and weight control, as well as
ejecting under or overweight portions after the forming
and portioning process.
