A study of 2,000 Americans conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Go Raw, found that 69% of those polled say they always bring some kind of snack with them when they're on the go and 51% in the study say they fill up on snacks instead of making a balanced meal at least three times a week. " America is a nation of snackers and we're no longer as averse to snacking as we once were. Instead, snacking is viewed as a way to have a quick bite in between meals or as a convenient meal side, " said Darren Seifer, food and beverage analyst, The NPD Group, Chicago. In fact, Mintel reported in its " Snacking Motivations and Attitudes - US " study from 2019 that 95% of US adults snack daily and 70% do so two or more times a day.
