Focus Ingredients was founded in 2010 by Dr. Markus
Veen as a technology company for the development of
customized and innovative solutions for the food and
pet food industries. The company has served as a key
provider of products, services and know-how in the pet
food processing industry ever since. Focus Ingredients'
competencies include preservatives, proteins and hydrolysates, enzymes, fermentation, textures, taste and

Focus is a partner of Lubigel in India, supplying leading pet food manufacturers around the world with quality hydrocolloid (Cassia gum and Guar gum). Lubigel
operates a world-class hydrocolloid production plant
in Vadodara, India, which is certified ISO 22000, kosher and halal and has been in operation since 1997.
Lubigel recently opened a new state-of-the-art, foodgrade E427 Cassia gum facility to further serve the pet
food industry.
