Why PRUNES?
California prune ingredients help extend the lifespan of freshbaked
bakery items by 2 to 3 days. The antioxidants in prunes
preserve flavor and prevent rancidity from developing in fats
and nuts while the sorbitol binds moisture. However, these
ingredients alone do not inhibit mold or staling.
