Supplier’s Corner LOZANO riends and Associates: Are you preparing? Are you planning? The 75th anniversary of our association is soon upon us, and what an event it will be. Phoenix, AZ, is a great venue for the meetings, events and the diamond anniversary party that is being organized. One of the greatest opportunities an associate member has is the networking afforded with the most influential players in our industry in a single location. Your membership works for you when you work these events. So join us, join in and make the most of your SFA membership. As discussed previously, the Snack Food Association has added a new staff member in marketing. If you have not had a chance to meet David Walsh (dwalsh@sfa.org), extend a welcome and help him to learn our association — it can be a daunting experience. Soon, our marketing committee will kick off, and Lisa Schommer and Dennis Fechhelm will lead us with a marketing focus to both support and guide the existing efforts, services, growth and expansion of our association. Many new initiatives begun or are soon to be started this year, and it has been very fulfilling process in which to participate. As always, I will take this opportunity to remind our members that our association is only as good as the time, effort and resources we cumulatively invest. Thank you all.
