PRODUCT SHOWCASE Compact vibrating rod Web-based software LodeStar L50 CLA BinMaster recently introduced the CVR-625 mini vibrating rod, a compact point level control for use in small bins and hoppers where other level sensors will not fit. The updated design allows for the detection of very light materials with a density as low as two. It is easy to install and does not require calibration. The rod features three sensitivity adjustments and is high and low level fail-safe. It can be mounted on the top or side of a bin. Perten Instruments has released Process Plus software for its range of diode arraybased process instruments. The web-based user interface makes displays accessible from any device with a web browser anywhere in the process. It also includes features for quick and easy download of data and support for a range of other integration options, including legacy OPC DA, fieldbus integration, SQL connectivity and analogue I/O. It can run completely independent of physical installation location. Berg+Schmidt's LodeStar L50 conjugated linoleic acids (CLAs) have been substantiated by four practical trials carried out in the past two years. It is produced from unsaturated oils and consists of 50% conjugated linoleic acids. The trials showed increased daily weight gains of up to 5.1%, an improvement of as much as 6.5% in feed conversion rates, up to 2.8% more lean meat and a 2.9% higher index number. LodeStar CLA L50 enhanced performance at the finishing stage of fattening and the quality of the carcass. All-in-one analyzer Sweeping augers Material handling FOSS released the NIRS DA1650 analyzer for liquid oil and oil crush solid samples, providing oil crushers vital process data on the quality of their oil and the amount of oil left in the meals, allowing full yield potential to be reached. Instrument users can measure the solid samples in the normal sample holder and then use a unique gold reflector cup for liquid oil samples. The intuitive touch screen interface makes it fast and easy for any user to switch between sample types. DENIS technology provides high performing and reliable unloading devices for cereal flat-bottomed silos. After gravity discharge, the sweeping auger regularly conveys the residual grain to the central outlet, with zero entry in the bin. Intermediate outlets and set parking position of the screw are not required. Three different types are available at flow rates up to 600 tph (gravity discharge) and 250 tph (residual output) and can easily be fitted in new or existing round silos. STIF is a specialized manufacturer of components for the bulk material handling industry. The French company has locations in Spain, Singapore, China and Indonesia, and recently opened an office and warehouse in Panama to serve South and Central American customers. Main components of the bucket elevators include JET pressed steel and plastic elevator buckets, elevator belts, sensors (under speed monitor, belt alignment), monitoring and VIGILEX explosion vent panels. 104 August 2014 / World Grain /
