District Property Management (DPM) is
responsible for maintaining the District-owned
assets of The Villages while preserving the
community's design intent. The department
comprises seven divisions: Facilities, Landscape,
Water Resources, Town Centers, Construction,
Infrastructure, and Special Projects. With over 80
square miles of property to maintain, DPM staff is
committed to providing high-level service for the
residents to enjoy.
FACILITIES DIVISION
The Facilities Division maintains all of our
recreation amenities. It has been another busy
year, with the renovation of 147 Sports Courts
(pickleball, tennis, platform tennis, bocce,
shuffleboard and basketball), as well as the full
renovation of 11 pools (Sports, Adult and Family).
The Facilities Division repainted the exterior
of 26 Recreation Centers and the interior of 3
Recreation Centers and replaced the flooring
(carpet, LVT & tile) at 11 Recreation Centers.
Outdoor fitness equipment was installed at 2
Recreation Centers, 2 pool trellises were replaced
and hearing assistance loops were installed at 3
Recreation Centers.
DPM constantly performs a variety of
maintenance at all of our Recreation Amenities,
including painting, new wallpaper, new flooring,
new fixtures, new furniture, new lighting,
pressure washing, landscape maintenance and
much more. The Facilities Division maintains our
physical assets to the highest possible standards
to ensure that you enjoy these great amenities
without worrying about the work that goes on
behind-the-scenes to keep them in exceptional
condition at all times.
CONSTRUCTION DIVISION
The Construction Division is continuously
striving to improve the effectiveness and
efficiency of project execution and delivery.
During the past year, DPM completed several
construction projects which met this goal, in
which service delivery
costs were reduced.

four-fold doors
and a new gym. La

Center office space
was renovated
to include a new
Customer Service
Office space, as well
as the renovation of
2 office spaces for
Community Watch
at Alhambra Storage
Yard and the DPM Annex.
