FUEL MANAGEMENT
The District operates a fuel facility to fuel and
support the white fleet, Sanitation vehicles, Fire
Apparatus and Ambulances. This established:
* A dependable supply of fuel and a bulk rate
agreement for unleaded and diesel fuel limits
dependency on public fueling stations in the event
of a natural disaster.
* An annual fixed price for fuel, allows accurate
forecast fuel expenses each Fiscal Year.
FUEL MASTER FM LIVE UPGRADE
FOR FUEL TRANSACTIONS
The District upgraded from the Fuel Master Live
Legacy software to the modern web-based Fuel
Master Live platform to monitor fuel consumption.
Key benefits include:
* Real-time fuel data visibility on any device
* Automatic upgrades without disrupting access
* Robust reporting and monitoring capabilities
* Integrated fleet information
* Scalability for future growth
ENHANCING COLLABORATION &
PRODUCTIVITY WITH OFFICE 365
The District deployed Microsoft Office 365
and Teams across all departments this year
to facilitate streamlined communication and
collaboration. The cloud-based productivity
suite centralizes essential tools like email, video
conferencing, file sharing, and task management
on a unified platform accessible across devices.
With the ability to securely work together in
Teams the District workforce can now engage in
seamless teamwork regardless of location. The
rollout of Office 365 promotes organizational

alignment, eliminates information silos, and
enables staff to collaborate more efficiently on
district-wide initiatives and projects.
REPURPOSING TECHNOLOGY TO
ACHIEVE COST SAVINGS
The District's IT Department transitioned laptops
to Surface Pro devices, enabling the repurposing
of surplus laptops to other departments. The
laptops were reimaged and deployed for training,
staff support, recruiting events, and related
needs across the District. This equipment
repurposing initiative achieved $32,000 in cost
savings for the District by extending the usable
lifecycle of existing technology assets. The crossdepartmental
collaboration allows the District to
maximize resources and reduce expenses.
REPURPOSING TECHNOLOGY TO
ACHIEVE COST SAVINGS
The District implemented a mobile device
management (MDM) solution for Districtowned
iPhones to improve security and ensure
compliance with public records requests. The
MDM platform enables centralized control
over mobile devices, including restricting app
downloads, remotely managing devices, and
pushing software updates. By managing iPhone
configurations and settings from a centralized
dashboard, the IT Department can now safeguard
sensitive data, apply security policies, and
respond efficiently to public records requests.
The mobile security controls and automation
capabilities provide greater protection for district
information assets and alignment with open
records regulations.
Additionally, District Management entered into agreements to provide services
on Championship courses and are now operating our own Executive courses.
