The event garnered 14 entries, with first place for best stew presented to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser team for its “Paniolo’s Paradise Chili.” The Gas Company’s “Rock ‘N’ Lobster” stew earned second place followed by Breezway North America’s “Roo-Stew.” The Gas Company also was named the people’s choice winner.
