More peace of mind for you. A.M. Best – the insurance industry’s leading rating agency – just upgraded our Financial Strength Rating from A (excellent) to A+ (superior), based on our long-term performance, strong local market presence and operational capabilities. This means you can have even more confidence and trust in our policies for your business, home or auto, and can rest assured that we’ll always be there when you need us. The CT660 is the first truck of its kind offered by Caterpillar, with two new trucks scheduled to arrive on Oahu in May. “This truck brings state-of-the-art power, performance and productivity to our operations,” said Mark Kuhn of A&M Trucking in Honolulu, which purchased one of the custom trucks. “We especially appreciate the fuel efficiency and detailed safety measures, like the sloped hood for increased visibility.” The CT660 is the first on-highway Class 8 truck offered by Caterpillar. Available in truck or day-cab configurations, it has aluminum alloy cab construction, reducing overall weight for maximum payloads. The front design decreases wind drag and the truck uses an EGR system with the latest in fuel injection technology to reduce emissions. With the new rating First Insurance is now not only the oldest and largest, but also the top-rated, locally headquartered insurer in Hawaii.
