Courtyard by Marriott Opens on Maui A grand opening was held on July 12 for the new 138-room Courtyard by Marriott Maui Kahului Airport hotel. As part of the celebration, $5,000 was donated to the Maui Food Bank, part of Marriott’s Spirit to Serve corporate program, which is designed to foster good will in communities where Marriott properties are located. Situated at the intersection of Haleakala Highway and Keolani Place, the four-story property houses 49 studio king rooms, 79 studio double queen rooms, six suites and four extended-stay suites. The wellappointed accommodations include luxurious bedding ensembles, individual climate control, a large and well-lit desk with ergonomic chair, 37-inch highdefinition television and an iPod docking station.
