John Bouchie was recently promoted to Vice President of Hawaiiana Management Company, Ltd. Bouchie has more than 25 years John Bouchie of experience in the real estate and property management industry. His experience includes condominium sales, marketing, branding, construction management, leasing, capital improvement management and budget development. Bouchie joined Hawaiiana in 2007 from the premier Boston, Massachusetts, firm Peabody Properties, Inc., where he served as Assistant Vice President. Once with Hawaiiana Management, Bouchie was promoted from Management Executive to Senior Management Executive/Team Leader in 2009 and then to Director of Property Management in 2010. Bouchie’s management portfolio includes Moana Pacific that is the largest registered condominium in the State of Hawaii and Trump International Hotel and Tower at Waikiki Beach. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Kathy Cooley, formerly a Branch Manager for Certified Hawaii’s Hawaii Operations, will now serve as the Senior Vice President. Cooley works in Certified’s Kona branch office and is responsible for the dayto-day operations of more than 70 properties. She also manages a staff of 11 employees, as well as her own portfolio of clients. Cooley recently obtained membership to the National Association of Parliamentarians and was awarded the prestigious “Ambassadors Circle Award” presented to only the top 10 percent of Associa employees. She has achieved the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and Professional Community 8 February-March 2012 Association Manager (PCAM) designations from the Community Associations Institute. Ron De Leon has been appointed General Merchandising Manager of City Mill Company, Ltd. As a part of the senior Ron De Leon management team he will oversee all aspects of the Merchandising Department and will be responsible for planning, implementing and directing all merchandising policies and programs within City Mill. De Leon brings more than 30 years of experience from All American Home Center in California where he started as a sales associate in the plumbing department. He worked his way through operations to become the store manager, and ultimately became the Chief Merchandising Officer. Michael DiBella, recently earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world. DiBella earn the designation by completing a graduate-level education curriculum and presenting a portfolio of qualifying experience. The curriculum addresses financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis, the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. Bobbie Favela, a Certified Hawaii community manager, recently earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation. This required the competition of a Community Association Institute’s (CAI) Professional Management Development Program (PMDP) and passing a comprehensive exam. The course covers topics ranging from Facilities Management and Community Government to Risk Management and Financial Management. Favela has been in the real estate industry since 1993 and has more than nine years of property management experience in both residential and commercial settings. She obtained her real estate license in 1999 and currently manages nine associations. Kyle Hamada recently joined Collaborative Studio, a architecture and design firm, as a partner and principal architect. In this role, Hamada Kyle Hamada will personally oversee all phases of project design, production and management. Hamada has extensive experience in designing institutional/government, commercial and residential projects. Hamada brings more than 20 years of design expertise to the company. He has worked for Urban Works Inc., James McPeak and Associates Inc., AM Partners, and Group 70 International. Hamada’s design projects have earned him the AIA Honolulu 2007 Unbuilt Project Award for the University of Hawaii Hilo Student Services Building, and AIA Honolulu 2009 Merit Award for Sacred Hearts Academy’s Performing Arts Building. Marlene Hernandez recently joined RevoluSun as a Hawaiibased software tester engineer. Hernandez will be responsible for ensuring that requirements for new functionalities are properly implemented in RevoluSun’s software system. Hernandez has seven years of experience as a software tester engineer. Prior to joining RevoluSun, Hernandez worked as a strategic test engineer at LANDesk Software in South Jordan, Utah.
