Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo PHOTOS BY JESSICA CRAWFORD The 2013 Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo was held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center July 10 and 11. Launched in 1995, the annual event is the largest trade exposition in the state, serving Hawaii’s top economic market—the hospitality industry—which, according to the Hawaii Tourism Authority, contributed $11.9 billion to Hawaii’s economy in 2012. With the goal of bringing industry professionals together with industry vendors, the expo included more than 312 exhibitors, free seminars, door prizes, and food and beverage sampling. This year brought a turnout of 4,732 registered attendees to the trade show.
