OUR 20 UNDER 40 Awards program, presented
by Lexus of London, is one of the most exciting
projects we work on here at London Inc. The
issue you're reading right now is the culmination
of months of effort that starts with the
opening of nominations. We receive hundreds
of nominations, which go on to be sorted, vetted,
shortlisted and judged.
It's a lengthy and involved process that
requires a meeting of many minds, but ultimately,
all that effort is well worth it, because
what we end up with is a snapshot of a London
that is brimming with talent. The 20 Under 40
Class of 2023 represents success at a young age,
but also hard work, grit, innovation, hope and
passion for making a difference.
This year's honourees come from a diverse
range of sectors - everything from finance and
education to medicine, law and social work. And
while early career success is a common thread,
another is the desire to create opportunity and
space for others to succeed, to lift others up and
make our city a better and more accepting and
accessible place for all.
It's an honour and a privilege to celebrate
these young visionaries, and to find out who they
are, what makes them tick and why they choose
to do what they do - and then introduce them
to you. |
