A veteran of the accounting industry for 18 years and joining Davis Martindale in 2011, Danielle Martens
continuously escalated through the firm ranks, from entry-level associate to her current position of
associate partner. Working predominantly with lawyers to quantify loss claims resulting from accidents or
incidents, she credits great mentorship for helping her realize success, and now works tirelessly to return
that guidance to the firm's students and young associates.
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment
in business? My single biggest business achievement is
my role growth on the insurance an litigation team at Davis
Martindale. I am proud to have climbed up the ladder from an
entry-level associate position to my current position as
an associate partner. I hold this role with great appreciation
for all the mentors in my life, and of course,
our hard-working team.

Knowing what you know now, what advice
would you give your younger self? To not get
discouraged or think that your goals are out of
reach. If I went back to myself in high school
and said to myself that I was going to get a
specialized designation in forensic accounting
