20 Under 40 Class of 2020

SINCE 2013, LONDON'S 20 UNDER 40 AWARDS,
presented by Lexus of London and produced in
association with the Twenty Under 40 Foundation, has
celebrated younger Londoners who are moving the city
forward. But this year, celebrating success has taken on
new meaning.

What success means in this city is changing; it looks
very diﬀerent today than it did eight years ago when the
ﬁrst 20 Under 40 class was named. But one thing that
hasn't changed is that the stories of achievement we are
celebrating in this issue are about building the kind of
city that nurtures further success for us all.

In some ways, this celebration, like so many others held
during these exceptional times, is tinged with a bit of
sadness and regret. On the other hand, in identifying
the Londoners who continue to ﬁnd success here, and
who are literally and ﬁguratively building the London of
the future, we know we are sharing with our readers a
much-needed positive vision - one that sheds light on
the achievements happening right now, and on the great
things to come.

We're excited to celebrate these individuals in our
pages, and we hope you also ﬁnd value in reading about
this exceptional group of Londoners.

The people you will meet on the following pages are
entrepreneurs, innovators and visionaries who are each
making a diﬀerence in their ﬁeld and in the city. The 20
Under 40 list is not just a celebration of young, successful
people, but also of a city that, despite a global pandemic,
allows their successes to be possible.

this year, we also hope you'll enjoy the videos that are
