A former medical administrator and registered nurse, Katelynn Drake works tirelessly to improve the
conditions of those who do not have the privilege or position to advocate on their own behalf.

What would you say your biggest business achievement
has been? As a former nurse, I have experience that helps me
to understand the reality of how law aﬀects healthcare. As a
result, I have been asked to give lectures about the interplay
between health and law and, most importantly to me, how that
interplay aﬀects long-term care. My biggest career achievement has been ﬁnding this platform and being able to speak
about things that I am passionate about.

Who has been your biggest influence? My mom, who went
to university in her 40s when she had four school-age kids and
a job. She wasn't afraid to make a hard decision or a big change
in order to achieve her ggoals. She was fearless and that taught

me to be bold.. My dad, who is the hardest working person
