DINNER SYMPOSIA
Conversations With Peers About T2DM: Best
Practices for Optimizing Treatment Using Weight
Management as a Primary Goal
Supported by: Lilly
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. * Registration: 6:00 p.m
Westin Boston Seaport District * Grand Ballroom AB
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is one of the most common
diseases managed in primary care. Guidelines emphasize
that glycemia is just one of many factors to be managed.
Weight loss, though rarely achieved, can significantly improve
outcomes for PwT2DM. However, fewer than 50% of people
with T2DM (PwT2DM) are managed appropriately. Primary care
professionals (PCPs) can effect real change, but how, exactly?
Overcome therapeutic inertia at this PeerView Live symposium.
Experts will use simulated telehealth visits to share practical
strategies to help you appropriately intensify treatment for
PwT2DM. This lively session will emphasize a personalized
approach and shared decision-making to improve outcomes.
Join us! You'll leave with the confidence you need to help
patients become the best versions of themselves.
Live-stream available, Session will be recorded.

DINNER SYMPOSIA
Hot Topics in Menopause: Latest Advances in the
Management and Treatment of VMS
Supported by: Astellas & Bayer US
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. * Registration: 6:30 p.m.
Westin Boston Seaport * Commonwealth Ballroom
Many patients with menopause have life-disrupting vasomotor
symptoms (VMS) such as hot flashes and night sweats, yet
confusion remains for healthcare professionals on the best
management strategies. As a result, patients often experience
the underappreciated impacts of VMS without intervention,
including sleep disturbances, difficulty concentrating,
challenges with short-term memory, depression, anxiety, and
social isolation. Although 80% of patients with menopause will
experience VMS, only 20% meet guideline criteria for hormone
therapy, which many prefer to avoid.
Join expert faculty for the latest updates in the management
and treatment of patients with menopause, including the
role of hormonal and nonhormonal therapies. The program
will include literature updates, strategies for partnering with
patients to personalize care, and an interactive question and
answer session.
Live-stream available, Session will be recorded.r
