Check out this issue's stunning cover-a real

according to USTOA members. We've got a lot
more of what USTOA members have to say about
the coming year in our Travel Talk column (page
6), but they aren't the only ones with forecasts up
their sleeves.

The report's findings also point to top destinations and cruise itineraries,
with Alaska coming in as #2 for "Top Cruise Itineraries." We've got the 4-1-1
on what cruise lines are doing in Alaska in the "Exploring the Last Frontier"
feature on page 93. The Luxe Report put the spotlight on Iceland, which
is featured in our Table of Contents. It came in at #1 for "Top Emerging
Destination," and at #2 in the "Top Global Destinations," and "Top Adventure
Destinations." The Virtuoso report also points to Iceland and Australia as
"Top Millennial Destinations."
And speaking of Millennials, the STA Travel agency's travel trends report
points out that this generation is moving toward destinations that take them
off the beaten path, including Australia, Portugal, UK and Italy. Turn to page
97 to the "Defining Value Travel" feature to discover how tour operators are
exploring less-traveled areas of destinations such as Italy.
The January 2018 issue also features the 2018 Delta Air Lines Caribbean,
Mexico and Latin America Travel Guide, highlighting the must-see sights,
signature events and top hotel picks in each of the gateways Delta Air Lines
serves in these regions. The guide covers 50+ destinations, from Havana, San
Juan and Saint Lucia to Los Cabos, Panama City and Cartagena, among a
host of others.
