David Cox joined JK
Moving Services as
executive vice president
COX
of residential services.
He will drive the strategic expansion
of JK's household goods and residential
services. Prior to joining the company,
Cox served in a senior leadership capacity at Suddath Relocation Systems.
"David is highly regarded in the
moving industry and is known for his
innovative leadership style, business
development acumen, service delivery
and logistics management expertise,"
said Chuck Kuhn, president and CEO
of JK Moving Services. "After initiating a thorough talent search, JK was
fortunate to partner with David, our
top executive leadership candidate."
With more than 20 years of moving
and storage industry experience, Cox
has managed every aspect of residential
moving services-from operations to
quality assurance-for some of the
most prominent brands in the industry,
including Suddath and Graebel.

Scott Harvey
BEKINS A-1
MOVING AND STORAGE

Bekins A-1 Moving
and Storage, the largest
agent of Bekins Van
Lines, has promoted Scott Harvey to
president. He succeeds Terry Kostoff,
who retired.
Having been a part of the Bekins
A-1 team for 15 years, Harvey has held
a variety of corporate and branch roles,

most recently as chief operating officer
for branches. 
"I am honored and excited to
assume the role as president of Bekins
A-1," he said. "My focus will be on
quality service, growth and operational excellence in order to better
serve our customers."
Harvey's career in the moving and
storage industry began right after
high school, working as a mover to
pay for college. In 2002, he joined
Bekins A-1 in a private relocations
sales role. Later roles with the company included general manager for
multiple branches and vice president
of sales and marketing. 
Silvia Louro
ARPIN
INTERNATIONAL GROUP
West Warwick, R.I.

Silvia Louro, director of
international operations
at Arpin International
Group, has been elected president of
FIDI USA, the national association
of FIDI, the largest global alliance of
professional international moving and
relocation companies.
In her role, Louro will represent
the U.S. section of FIDI and serve as
a U.S. delegate during FIDI's general
assembly. Additionally, she will coordinate and lead FIDI USA board and
association meetings, as well as discuss
board initiatives and proposals, and
distribute relevant FIDI information to
the board and the membership.
"FIDI has an essential role in
raising the bar for professional standards in the international household
goods forwarding industry," said
David Arpin, president and CEO of
Arpin. "We are incredibly proud of
Silvia's leadership in FIDI over the
years. In her new role, representing
the interests of FIDI USA members,
she will continue the association's
important work of advancing the
state of our profession and promoting
best practices."

Louro brings 21 years of experience in the household goods moving
and storage industry. At Arpin, she
works on strategic development of
the company and its subsidiaries,
focusing on overall operational
management of Arpin's worldwide
strategic service centers.
Robert J. McKillips
HILLDRUP
Stafford, Va.

Robert J. McKillips has
been named vice president of global business
MCKILLIPS
development at Hilldrup,
which operates the largest household
goods hauling fleet on the East Coast
and one of the largest in the industry.
As a 25-year veteran of the relocation, moving and storage industry,
McKillips is focused on the client experience. He has an extensive track record
of new business development as well as
managing and retaining existing business. By maintaining a strong network
of clients, partners, suppliers and peers,
he has been able to direct business users
toward best-practice solutions. n
