CALUMET SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
PROMOTES VICE PRESIDENT

Calumet Specialty Products Partners
promoted Scott Obermeier from vice
president to executive vice president,
commercial.
Obermeier, who had been a vice
president at Calumet since November
2017, will be responsible for leading
the company's base oils, solvents
and specialty oils and waxes business
units, as well as corporate marketing, research and development and
customer service.
"Scott's promotion is another
strategic move that will help Calumet
be more commercially focused as we
continue to transition our portfolio
toward specialty products," said
Calumet CEO Tim Go. "Scott's
experience will help us deliver on our
recently announced Self-Help Phase II
priorities and allow us to expedite our
specialty products growth strategy in
2020 and beyond."

IN MEMORIAM

Morgan has been promoted to
technical specialist, after serving in the
past five years in a sales role at Sea-Land.
She will team up with Ted McClure, the
company's technical resources manager,
to expand the technical team and provide additional support for customers,
principal supplier and the sales team.

RICHARD SCHOENSIEGEL
ILMA is saddened to learn that
Richard "JR" Schoensiegel,
age 70, passed away Dec. 31,
with his family by his side.
Richard was president of the
family business, Rosemead Oil
Products, which was an ILMA
member for many years. He
was instrumental in the growth
and success of the company.
His vision included building
the most state-of-the-art manufacturing and blending plant in
Southern California.
Loving husband of Debra Mazer, Richard is also survived by
his beloved sons Cody (Randee) Schoensiegel and Shane (Lesa)
Thomas, grandchildren Liberty, Truth, Vivian, Trevor and Zac,
and six great-grandchildren. He was big brother to Jim (Betty)
Schoensiegel, Carol (Dave) Cottle and Diane (Greg) Wold and
had many nieces and nephews.
Loving husband, father, brother, son and uncle, he was an avid
deep-sea fisherman and a scratch golfer. Richard's boat, The Adios,
was his pride and joy, and he enjoyed many fishing trips to local
islands and Cabo San Lucas as well as long-range fishing trips.
Richard will always be remembered for his optimism, his
stories, his warmth and his smile.
