technologies.

Prior to the acquisition, Wausau
Coated had been a technical and
material supplier to Brandywine since
Brandywine's inception.

Colleen Jones-Cervantes

Jones-Cervantes has held numerous
positions of increasing responsibility in Chevron's downstream and
chemicals organization in the U.S.,
Philippines and Singapore. She also
oversaw Chevron's global lubricants
business before being part of the
company's recent downstream and
chemicals organizational transformation. She will retain her change
management responsibilities.

It is with sadness
that ILMA has
learned of the
passing of Laura
Launikitis, formerly with ILMA
member company
Laura Launikitis
INEOS. Laura
Ross Launikitis, 59, of Endwell, New
York, died unexpectedly on Thursday,
March 4, at her home.
She was predeceased by her
husband, James Launikitis, and her
father, Bert Ross. She is survived by
her mother, Roberta Ross, of Rock
Hill, South Carolina; two sisters,

ILMA was sad to
learn of the passing
of Dr. Paula Vettel.
Paula was technical
director for ILMA
member Novvi for
the last 10 years.
Phil and Paula Vettel
Paula was one of
the first employees of Novvi and was
instrumental in creating the company
culture, vision and technology. She was
the spiritual center of Novvi's laboratory, genius behind the revolutionary
formulations, the guardian of the regulatory process, as well as the mentor
for the company's cadre of new, young,
world-class scientific talent. She will be
missed terribly by everyone.
Paula's contributions to the lubricants industry span nearly 40 years.
Before taking her position at Novvi,
she worked for Amoco Petroleum
Additives and D.A. Stuart. She set a
great example at Novvi with the
