APPOINTS NEW GLOBAL BUSINESS
DIRECTOR, BIO-LUBRICANTS
Emery Oleochemicals, a global specialty
chemical manufacturer, announced
the appointment of Eric Cecilio as
global business director to lead its BioLubricants division. Cecilio's more than
20 years of global experience spans
multiple industries; he has held several
leadership roles with Shell, P&G and
JM Huber. Most recently, he joined
Emery from Chemtura Corp. where he
led the Petroleum Additives and Urethanes business as commercial director
for the Americas.
"Eric's success in leading organizations and growing businesses will
be invaluable as he charts the next
phase of growth of our Bio-Lubricants
business, an essential component of
Emery's strategic focus on our specialty products," said Billy Yeoh, global
head of business.

IMCD TO ACQUIRE L.V. LOMAS
IMCD announced that it will acquire
100 percent of the Canadian and U.S.
specialty chemicals and ingredients
distributor L.V. Lomas. L.V. Lomas is
an excellent fit with the IMCD business model and immediately provides
IMCD with a significant presence in
Canada and a further enhanced position in the U.S.

APPOINTS JENNIFER ALTSTADT
TO CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Sea-Land Chemical Co. is pleased to
announce the promotion of Jennifer
Altstadt to chief operating officer.
In her new leadership role, Altstadt
will be responsible for overseeing all
departments and the daily operations
of the company and will report to
the president.
Altstadt joined Sea-Land in 2015 as
the director of marketing and was promoted in 2016 to senior vice president
of Operations and Strategy.
"Over the past two years, Jennifer
has improved our operations and
developed the strategic planning
initiatives of the company," said President Joe Clayton. "We look forward
to Jennifer leading the organization as
the next step of our succession plan."
Prior to joining Sea-Land, Altstadt
served as the president of Libra Industries and Weatherchem Corp. and has
over 25 years of experience developing
profitable and sustainable growth. She
currently holds a bachelor's and master's degree in industrial engineering
and a Master of Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of

Management at Case Western Reserve
University.

NORTH AMERICAN LUBRICANTS
CO. PARTNERS WITH PRESTONE
PRODUCTS CORP.
North American Lubricants (NAL) has
announced a strategic partnership with
Prestone Products Corp. to market its
automotive and heavy-duty antifreeze/
coolants and chemicals. NAL will now
market Prestone antifreeze/coolants
through its national distributor channel, as well as installed retail and national fleet customers nationwide. As a
complement to its premium lubricants
line, NAL will be offering Prestone's
Prime automotive line and Command
heavy-duty antifreeze/coolants.
"Metals used in cooling system
components are different than what
they were 10 years ago," said NAL
President Aaron Read. "Technology
advancements in corrosion inhibitors
and a rainbow of OEM colors have
made coolant choices confusing.
