LETTER FROM THE CEO

How Can ILMA Better Serve You?

s she accepted the gavel in October, new ILMA President Barbara Kudis
told the members gathered for the Annual Meeting that one of her
initiatives is to ensure that ILMA members take full advantage of all the
Association's programs and resources. In addition, ILMA is creating a program
fund to develop new tools and resources for the membership. As part of that
initiative, we need your input on how ILMA can better serve you.
Along those lines of serving the membership, ILMA has created a poster, which
can be found on www.ilma.org, that will explain to your employees who ILMA
is and what the Association has to offer them. They can take advantage of the
resources on our website, including white papers, regulatory information, news
about the industry and more. I hope you will print it and post it in prominent
locations in your offices.
At the same time, it's exciting to see the ILMA Foundation expanding its mission. In 2019, the Foundation will add research and education to its agenda. The
Foundation has a new Board of Governors who will be determining the initiatives
the Foundation undertakes. For the past 20 years, the Foundation has been solely
focused on awarding scholarships, and that will continue.
