AXEL WINS 2019 SWEDEN'S BEST
MANAGED COMPANIES AWARD
The AXEL Christiernsson Group
(AXEL) has received the 2019
Sweden's Best Managed Companies
recognition, sponsored by Deloitte in
cooperation with Nasdaq.
During the last 15 years, AXEL has
transformed from being a local producer in Scandinavia to becoming a
leading supplier of lubricating greases
in the B2B market. "There are many
strong companies in Sweden, and it
has been exciting to get to know some
of them through this program. We are
delighted to be involved in recognizing
such an important part of the Swedish
market," said Håkan Sjögren, independent jury member and managing
director, who is responsible for listings
at Nasdaq Stockholm.
Best Managed Companies is a
quality award to recognize the overall
success of private Swedish companies
based on strategic direction, ability
to execute, corporate culture and
financial performance. Best Managed
Companies was established in Canada
in 1993 and since then has been
introduced in more than 20 countries
around the world. Sweden's Best Managed Companies was launched
in 2018.

things to celebrate in the recent past,
including our 130th-year anniversary,
welcoming Royal Manufacturing as

PILOT CHEMICAL CORP. NAMES
NEW NORTHEAST REGIONAL
SALES MANAGER
Kate Slyman is Pilot Chemical Corp.'s
new regional sales manager for the
Northeast. She will serve as the first
point of contact for customers in her
assigned territory.
Kate Slyman
Slyman brings more than eight
years of sales and marketing experience
in the chemical industry. She received
a bachelor's degree in chemical
engineering from Michigan State
University and is currently pursuing a
master's degree in business administration from Saint Joseph's University in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Slyman is
a graduate of The Dow Chemical Co.'s
Commercial Development Program
and most recently served as a senior
sales representative for ExxonMobil.
