WASHINGTON AND INDUSTRY BRIEFS

Strategic Opportunities at
NAFCU's 51st Annual Conference
(NCVE) designation, available through
an optional pre-conference workshop on
June 19 that explores the role and function of corporate boards, fiduciary duties,
the board's role in risk and compliance
management, details of the Bank Secrecy
Act (BSA) and more.

With more than 40 sessions, led by more
than 50 presenters, this year's conference is the largest strategic planning
conference in the credit union industry.
The three-day conference will begin
with a full environmental scan explaining current and future trends and then
dive deep into hands-on workshops led
by four expert "thinkers." By day three,
attendees will integrate everything they
learn about the strategic planning life
cycle into their own credit union and be
on their way to excellence.

The Solutions Expo features more than
100 exhibitors who are well-equipped
to partner with your credit union to
enhance your processes, build your
products and serve your community
more effectively.

Additional opportunities for enhancing
your team's expertise are offered through
the NAFCU Certified Volunteer Expert

Finally, the conference will close with
special entertainment from comedian
Jeff Foxworthy. Foxworthy's folksy,
down-home style has made him one
of the best-known and most successful
stand-up comedians in the country. In
addition to a lengthy career as a television host, Foxworthy holds the distinction of being the largest-selling comedy
recording artist ever. You won't want to
