Where Work Is Going
The pandemic has shifted where people work and the tools used to help them relocate. So, how can
Worldwide ERC® help the mobility industry seize on the opportunities presented by this new world? We
asked Worldwide ERC®'s four newest board members for their insights:

" Worldwide ERC® is in a pivotal position to support
the industry as companies adapt to a new reality
and redefine the workforce 'where.' Companies
still have positions that require mobile employees,
while others are grappling with how to attract and
retain talent when the employee demands the
choice of where to work. For many companies, the
solution will be a hybrid based on business need.
" With Worldwide ERC®'s dynamic membership,
the opportunity exists to continue to bridge diversity, equality, and inclusion gaps by working with
the multifaceted groups of corporate members,
relocation management companies, and service
providers. This unified effort will be a powerful force in supporting the industry's goals of a
mobile and remote workforce through innovation,
thought leadership, and governmental advocacy. "
- Michelle Moore, chief global mobility officer,
NEI Global Relocation

" 2020 was a difficult year all around, but for
companies, it clearly highlighted the importance
of HR and mobility. As organizations grapple
with 'work-from-anywhere' models, they must
lean heavily on their global mobility teams to
support employees across jurisdictions while
ensuring compliance and duty of care.
" Equally, mobility teams need to be aligned
with their organization's talent strategy to support global business growth. Worldwide ERC® is
perfectly positioned to aggregate and disseminate market trends, data, and best practices
to HR and mobility professionals and suppliers
throughout the value chain to tackle these
newly created issues and opportunities. We
also have the opportunity to help professionals
adapt and evolve the role of talent mobility to
meet the 'new normal' that's coming next. "
- Anupam Singhal, senior vice president,
strategic partnerships, Topia
" For decades, transportation and communication have been making the world smaller. But
smaller doesn't mean simpler.
" Today, political, social, legal, and economic conditions vary widely. And they can change rapidly,
as we saw in response to COVID. While Worldwide
ERC® can't simplify the world, it can help us
see more clearly beyond borders. Our industry
already has developed the tools to help mobility
professionals stay on top of regulations, cultural
expectations, tax laws, and more, providing continual updates and insights. Using our expertise to
provide access to the latest information can help
members move personnel around the globe with
the maximum fluidity and fewest barriers. "
- Tyler Reynolds, president, Equus Software

" In support of global mobility, Worldwide ERC® has
consistently provided a forum for collaboration
among industry stakeholders. Now, more than
ever, the organization should continue to provide a collaborative platform for thought leaders
throughout the industry ecosystem.
" Adaptation to nontraditional mobility should
include an initiative to engage with leaders of each
industry segment to understand their respective
challenges and consider tools that streamline and
improve the speed of service delivery through secure
data sharing. Transparency inspires innovation, unveils
emerging technologies, and results in best practices
for the benefit of the entire mobility industry.
" Worldwide ERC® should remain the trusted
source for information on public policy, regulatory
changes, tax implications, and data protection in a
remote work world. "
- Kathy Connelly, SCRP, GMS, senior vice president,
corporate services, and qualifying broker, Berkshire
Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties
