Wold, American Express Holiday Inn Club Vacations Now Hiring at Resorts in Orlando & Myrtle Beach Holiday Inn Club Vacations is hiring for more than 60 positions at two of their resort locations—at their ﬂagship Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando, Florida, and at Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Positions now available at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando include careers in sales and marketing, such as timeshare sales consultants, OPC managers and OPC consultants, telesales representatives and telemarketing/call center representatives, and collections representatives. Operational openings include golf attendants and golf sales managers, maintenance managers, guest services representatives, groundskeepers, and positions in housekeeping and laundry. Corporate openings include administration, contract processing, and information technology. Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach is hiring timeshare sales consultants and OPC representatives to continue the success of their new sales center and marketing operations, which opened in April out of this location. Both careers offer competitive compensation plans, and the OPC positions are currently extending a hiring bonus. Holiday Inn Club Vacations has nine OPC locations in key tourist areas in Myrtle Beach, including ﬁve at Broadway at the Beach. This resort is also hiring a human resources generalist. closed a deal for $10 million with timeshare development company, Welk Resort Group. When asked about their sales results in 2009, Jon Fredricks notes that Welk is 12 percent over budget and doing extremely well, thanks to a tenacious team of people. As for the prospect of further growth, he acknowledges Welk has been approached by several other timeshare companies seeking alliances and relationships, and they are exploring those opportunities. While the company has the capacity to grow, they will continue to exercise caution, particularly during the current recessionary period.
