A full array of presentations and panels offering insights into the domestic economic outlook, what’s doing with water management and sustainability issues, new marketing and advertising insights for small businesses and recaps of global design trends will run for the duration of the show. The action kicks off with an energetic and enthusiastic panel discussion of design and building professionals, including Rick Judson, 2013 NAHB Chairman, and John Morgan, 2013 NKBA President, who will cover the economic outlook for the residential construction market as well as the exciting decision to co-locate two of the industry’s largest events — the International Builder’s Show and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas, February 4-6, 2013. Manufacturers, distributors, showrooms and designers will learn more about plans to make Design and Construction Week the “must see and experience” series of events in our industry. Already the buzz is strong, with other industry partners rethinking their conferences and venues to connect into this exciting new platform. Be sure to bring the tough questions. This panel is poised to offer the answers. KBIS is delighted to welcome Mark and Theresa Clement, hosts of “My Fix It up Life,” a live radio blog show. As licensed contractors, authors, contributors to the DIY Network, Old House Journal, Men’s Health, Extreme How-to, “NBC 10! Show” and more, this husbandand-wife team take their audience on an insider’s tour of the home improvement industry. “MyFixitUpLife” radio show airs LIVE every Thursday at noon EST on “BlogTalkRadio.” They will be scoping out the show, interviewing manufacturers and designers on new and innovative products and engaging the show audience.
